Hawke's Bay Marathon transfer rules
At a glance
What the organiser says
Transfers are self-serve on Njuko. The withdrawing runner logs in to their Participant Dashboard, chooses "Transfer Registration" and enters their friend's details; the incoming runner is emailed a link to complete their own registration. The buyer pays the entry at the CURRENT advertised price, not what the seller paid, so if prices have risen since the seller entered the buyer pays more. Once the buyer has completed and paid, the seller is refunded their entry fee less a $27 NZD transfer fee, so the fee comes off the seller's side. Same distance only, and add-ons like photo packs and donations do not carry over. The cut-off is 5:00pm NZT on 14 May 2027, the day before the race.
