What the organiser says
Transfers to another person are allowed until 11:59pm on Thursday 21 January 2027, two days before the race, for a $50 fee. Request one by emailing entries@thegoat.co.nz before that deadline. From 3 December 2026 there are no refunds and no credit to 2028, so a transfer is the only way to recover what you paid. Until 11:59pm on Wednesday 2 December you can instead take a 25% refund or a full credit towards 2028. Start waves cannot be changed, and bus and dinner tickets are refunded separately, less $10 each, until 14 January. Any payment for the entry is agreed between the two runners.
